The old method was to dig up the surrounding area, and have a look. This meant that large parts of your driveway or garden, for instance, could be excavated for a minor problem that needed only a small repair hole.

Straightline have full Closed Circuit TeleVision (CCTV) facilities ...... basically a tiny waterproof camera that can be pushed along the drains, non-intrusively, recording a video of what it sees. The video can then be used to determine the problem, and the hole in the ground created only where required , to repair the drains.

Clearly, the video can be useful in insurance claims, allowing your insurers to see the problem for themselves, and give authority to proceed.

Straightline can conduct a CCTV drains survey, and produce a full technical report detailing the findings, the problem, and the recommended solution, with expected costs.
